Irish Whiskey promotion initiative by Consulate General
The Consulate General of Ireland in Hong Kong was established in 2014. A key focus of the Consulate's economic work is supporting Irish food and drink exports to Hong Kong and Macau. As part of that initiative, working with the Irish Chambers of Commerce in HK and Macau, the Consulate is promoting Irish Whiskey for the first time at the 2015 HKTDC Hong Kong International Wine and Spirits Fair.
The Consulate General of Ireland Hong Kong & Macau Irish Whiskey promotion initiative by Consulate General in the eighth HKTDC Hong Kong International Wine and Spirits Fair (Wine & Spirits Fair), which will be held between 5 and 7 November 2015 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in Wan Chai. Registered trade buyers are invited to attend from 5-6 November, while 7 November is open to the public.
The Consulate General of Ireland Hong Kong & Macau in partnership with The Irish Whiskey Society Hong Kong and Macau is promoting Irish Whiskey and will be showcasing different types of Irish Whiskey and its product extensions. A “Whisktory” zone will be set up to introduce the history and development of Irish Whiskey.
Visitors are invited to participate in the interactive setting of the Consulate General of Ireland to Hong Kong & Macau booth for a chance to win a hamper of Irish whiskey goods.
