What is the current processing time?

The current turnaround time for standard passports is around 6 – 8 weeks, but please note that applications can take longer in times of peak demand e.g. summer months.

Outside of genuine emergencies, we will not be able to expedite this process. If you have a genuine emergency, i.e. death or illness of a family member, urgent business travel, or an adult with a lost or stolen passport who needs to travel urgently, please provide documented evidence of this along with your application.
