Consulate General of Ireland in São Paulo officially opened by Minister for Education and Skills, Jan O'Sullivan T.D. on St. Patrick's Day

Minister for Education and Skills, Jan O'Sullivan T.D. was the guest of honour at a reception held to mark the official opening of the Consulate General in São Paulo. The Minister wished Sharon Lennon, Consul General and Ciara Gilvarry, Vice-Consul well in establishing the new consulate, which is part of the Government's expansion of Ireland's network of embassies and consulates, particularly focused on key emerging markets for tourism and trade. The official opening of the Consulate coincided with St. Patrick's Day where sites in Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo and Brasília were "greened".
