Culture Ireland funding
As of 15 June 2015 Culture Ireland, the body responsible for promoting Irish Arts internationally was still open to hearing from artists seeking funding for 2016-specific projects. Find out more on the Culture Ireland website

Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade funding

A limited amount of funding may be available from the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade to support projects that reflect the priorities of the Ireland 2016 programme. Please contact the Embassy or your local Consulate General for details.

Century Ireland

The Century Ireland project is an online historical newspaper that tells the story of the events of Irish life a century ago. 

The Letters of 1916

The Letters of 1916 project is the first public humanities project in Ireland.  It is creating a crowd-sourced digital collection of letters written around the time of the Easter Rising (1 November 1915 – 31 October 1916).
