Celebrating St. Patrick's Day 2016

There is an exciting week ahead for Irish and Koreans alike as we celebrate St. Patrick's Day in Korea.

St. Patrick's Festival

A highlight for Korean's and the Irish Community is the annual St. Patrick's Day Festival on 19 March for a great day of Irish music, dance, fun and friendship. Festival starts from 1pm ay D-Cube City Plaza, Sindorim - all welcome for a great family day out.

Global Greening

For the third year in a row Seoul joins the Global greening and the Some Sevit floating islands on the Han River will go green for St Patrick's Day on 17 March.

Commemorating the Irish in the Korean War

Commemorating those of Irish birth and heritage who fought in the Korean War, the Minister of Patriots and Veterans Affairs and the Ambassador of Ireland to Korea will lay wreaths at the Irish memorial at the Korean War Memorial at 10.30am on Thursday 17 March.

Trade Promotion

Promoting trade and economic opportunities Irish and Korean businesspeople will meet for their first St Patrick's Day Business Breakfast on 15 March.
