Contacting us when you’re abroad
If you’re involved in an emergency abroad, you can contact your nearest Irish Embassy, Consulate or Honorary Consul for help.

No Irish Embassy or Consulate?
In countries where Ireland does not have any formal representation, emergency consular assistance, advice and support may be sought through resident offices of other EU member states.

Register with us before you travel
By registering your details with us, we will be able to contact you quickly if there is an unforeseen crisis like a natural disaster or if you have a family emergency while you are abroad. And, if necessary, we can offer assistance to you and your family.
