04 September 2020The Kansas City Irish Fest is one of the biggest Irish festivals in the United States, attracting over 75,000 attendees every year. It is a mammoth undertaking by a team of committed volunteers who ensure a fantastic Cowtown experience year on year. This year, undeterred by a global pandemic, the incredible Fest team dug deep to ensure that the show will go on.
The 18th Kansas City Irish Fest will take place on Labour Day weekend, albeit in a very different format with lots of online and some in-person activities.
To see the full program, please go to Kansas City Irish Fest.
There are options for the whole family that you can access from Where You Are including music, Irish cooking and baking and lots of activities for young people including storytelling, puppet shows, coloring competitions and fairy house construction!
The Government of Ireland is delighted to again support this festival through the Emigrant Support Programme. We acknowledge the dedication of the Kansas City Irish Fest team to bring the Fest to fruition and send them every best wish for the 18th Kansas City Irish Fest.
