Greening in Slovakia to mark St. Patrick's Day
News
18 March 2019Six landmarks in Slovakia turned green to mark St. Patrick's Day. In the capital, the Radisson Blu Carlton Hotel, Aréna theatre and the new building of the Slovak national went green. For the very first time, Trnava and Nitra joined and „greened“ their landmarks (Trnava Town hall and Andrej Bagar theatre and Chrenovský bridge in Nitra). The greening of these iconic landmarks and others around the world signifies friendship with Ireland. We hope that all who see it will think of visiting Ireland, a country where the welcome is warm and there is much to see and do.
